The Hyundai Santa Fe nicely fills the gap between the Hyundai Tuscon and the midsize Palisade in Hyundais eclectic lineup. It can seat up to five passengers, but it also provides plenty of room for all of their stuff. In 2022, the Santa Fe has a new available plug-in hybrid with a bigger battery pack that will allow you to travel 30 miles on all-electric power alone. There is also a new XRT trim that adds several new features such as black exterior molding on the body, black bumper fascias, black roof rails and cross rails, and dark silver front and rear skidplates. Overall, there are five trim levels available for the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe, and each comes with a ton of available features. Continue reading as we go over everything it has to offer!Â
SE
The base trim level is the SE, and it comes standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out up to 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque and pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. As for features, the SE comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, stain-resistant cloth upholstery, and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, the Santa Fe Is filled to the brim with safety equipment such as forward collision mitigation, lane-keeping assist, driver attention warning, and adaptive cruise control.Â

SEL
When you move up to SEL trim, more terrific features will be added, including a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-path detection, a rear-passenger safe exit system, keyless entry and ignition, a power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seat, heated side mirrors, wireless smartphone charging pad, and Hyundai's Blue Link connected service. There are two packages available for the SEL. The first is a Convenience package that comes with a hands-free liftgate, noise-reducing front side windows, digital key, dual-zone climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a digital instrument panel, and a rear-seat reminder. Then there is a Premium package with an upgraded Harmon Kardon 12-speaker system and a 10.25-inch infotainment system.Â

XRT

Limited
With the Limited, you get both the Convenience and Premium packages as standard plus a powerful 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that pups out 281 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. In addition, the Limited has more features, such as 19-inch wheels, upgraded LED headlights, parking sensors, upgraded drivers seats, ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats. You also get more safety systems such as a surround-view camera system, blind-spot camera, rain-sensing wipers, and an automated parking system.Â

Calligraphy
