Hyundai has finally arrived on the pickup scene with the release of the Hyundai Santa Cruz! It's a longer and more comprehensive pickup that is based on the design of the Hyundai Tucson. There are two engine options available for the Hyundai Santa Cruz, and both of them are incredibly powerful. Inside the cabin, you get all the latest technology, and the exterior comes with a spectacular wide-open bed. You even have the option of a full-time four-wheel-drive system that will allow you to fit in outdoor environments with the greatest ease. Four trims are available for the Hyundai Santa Cruz, and each one is filled to the brim with features. Continue reading below as we go over what each one offers.Â
SE
The first trim is the base SE, and we have to start by talking about what's underneath the hood. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that delivers a solid 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque and pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and can tow up to 3,500 pounds. You also have the option of a more robust and turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that gets you a spectacular 281 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. With this engine, the Santa Cruz can tow up to 5,000 pounds. As for features, the SE comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, open bed functionality, 18-inch alloy wheels, a self-leveling rear suspension, LED taillights, an integrated rear bumper side step, and an electronic parking brake.Â

SEL
Up next is the spectacualr SEL trim, which builds on the SE in every way with more outstanding items. Coming standard is a proximity key with a push-button start, heated side mirrors with turn indicators, heated front seats, a remote start, and an eight-way power driver seat with a power lumbar. In addition, seeing as how Hyundai is known for its massive amount of safety features, the SEL has a ton of them to keep you and your family secure. These include Blind-Spot Collison Avoidance Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist.Â

SEL Premium
Next, we have the luxurious SEL Premium trim, which comes with several premium features such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, dual automatic temperature control with multi-air mode, paddle shifters, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a shift knob. The design elements also see an improvement with items such as body-color exterior door handles and LED headlights.Â

Limited
The top-level trim is the Limited, which takes the Santa Cruz to new heights with a 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a Bose premium audio system. Other standard features include leather-trimmed seats and ambient lighting for a more premium feel. Are you looking for some additional safety items? The Limited brings them to you with Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Highway Driving Assist, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The Limited also rides on 20-inch wheels.Â
