The 2021 Santa Fe has three all-new powertrains to choose from: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, a 2.5-liter turbo-four, and a 1.6-liter hybrid (coming later in 2021). The naturally aspirated 2.5-liter produces 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. The turbo 2.5-liter puts out 277 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid powertrain is expected to put out around 227-combined horsepower. AWD is either an available or standard option for every 2021 Santa Fe trim.
First, the new stuff: wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard on every trim level, as is an 8-in touchscreen. The usual culprits are standard too, like Bluetooth and four USB ports. A bigger 10.3-inch touchscreen is available at higher trims. A fully digital 12.3-inch gauge cluster is a new available feature. Returning available features include integrated navigation, a 12-speaker premium stereo, a heads-up display, SiriusXM satellite radio, and more.
The 2021 Santa Fe comes with lots of safety features, regardless of trim. Forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection is standard, as are lane departure warning with lane keep assist, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, a driver drowsiness monitor, and a rearview camera. Available driver assistive features include blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, rear parking sensors, the all-new semi-autonomous driving assist mode, a surround-view parking camera system, Blind View Monitor, and Safe Exit Assist.
