Here’s what you can expect from the 2021 Hyundai Palisade in terms of performance specs, connectivity features, and the safety suite.
Each 2021 Hyundai Palisade is equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The SE, SEL, and Limited trims come standard with FWD, but AWD is available. The all-new top-tier Calligraphy trims features standard HTRAC® AWD with AWD lock; FWD is unavailable on the Calligraphy trim. The new trim also gets a snow-driving mode and downhill brake control for extra drivability.
Staying connected is important. That’s why every 2021 Palisade has standard Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth. Also standard are an 8-inch touchscreen, five USB ports, and HD radio. Numerous additions and upgrades are available, such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen, the Driver-Talk intercom system, integrated navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and more.
The 2021 Palisade is attractive package for those worried about safety. Even the base model is packed with standard safety features. Included on every 2021 Palisade are forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, driver drowsiness monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, a rearview camera, and the all-new rear-seat alert. Numerous driver assistive features are available as well, like blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a surround-view parking camera system, a heads-up display, and front parking sensors.
