For those who don’t know, Genesis has officially split from Hyundai into their own separate luxury brand, targeting affluent progressives with their commitment to refinement and satisfaction. Genesis has plans for a stand-alone dealership within the next five years, however they are currently displaying vehicles using a showroom-within-a-showroom strategy, in which Hyundai has a separate area of the dealership blocked off to showcase the Genesis brand. Genesis plans to launch six models in time for the arrival of their stand alone dealership while using their two current sedan models, the Genesis G80 and the Genesis G90, as the standard of what’s to come.
